Woman ends her life in Uri as she couldn’t bear death of husband

Uri: August 8: In a shocking incident in Uri, a 50-year old woman ends her life on Saturday morning after his husband’s body reached home.

The deceased womam is resident of Saidpora, Uri.

Official sources told news agency that a 50-year old Aulad Ali Shah s/o Mang Shah was admitted to GMC Baramulla and dies this morning due to heart attack.

Later when his dead body reached home and people were preparing for his last rites, meanwhile in between her wife consumed some poisonous substance and she was shifted to SDH Uri were doctors declared her dead.

Aulad Ali was an empolyee of J&K Gareem bank and was posted at Pringal Boniyar Branch.

“As per the primary investigation, it comes to fore that the woman couldn’t bear the loss of his husband and has consumed some poisonous substance, ” SHO Uri Mohammad Ashraf told.

“We are investigating the matter yet,” he said adding “The body will handed over to family after completing the legal formalities,” he said.(GNS)
