Sopore August 28: As a Part of Civic Action Programme, Volleyball tournament organized by CRPF 179 Battalion at College Ground Sopore North Kashmir Baramulla concluded today.
The tournament was organised under the supervision of Commandant CRPF 179th Battalion, Rabish kumar . Arun kumar 147 BN was the chief guest on the concluding day.
The team of Krankshivan Sopore won the Volleyball Tourney by defeating its CRPF 179BN in the final match .
A total of 4 teams from the district participated in the Tournament.
The final match of the Tournament, played between manipora and CRPF teams, was won Krankshivan team .
Rabish kumar of 179 BN Co and
Arun kumar 147 BN ,who was the chief guest on the occasion awarded trophies to winner and runner-up teams.
A large number of locals witnessed the matches and highly appreciated such efforts of CRPF which strengthen the Security forecs -public relations and hoped that such events will continue to be organised in future.
Speaking on the occasion, Commandant Rabish kumar thanked all the officers, participating players and general public for their cooperation for smooth and successful completion of the event.
