Jan Abhiyan: Sourabh Bhagat library at High School Drabshalla

KISHTWAR, SEPTEMBER 23: Commissioner/Secretary Labour and Employment   Department, Sourabh Bhagat, the other day inaugurated a newly established library here at High School Drabshalla.

The Secretary is on a two day tour of Kishtwar to participate in Block Divas and review the developmental Works as the Secretary Incharge of the District.

On the first day of his tour, he inaugurated the library here at HS Drabshalla, completed at an estimated cost of Rs 2.5 lakh under Back to Village phase 1.

He was accompanied by Labour Commissioner J&K, Abdul Rashid War and CEO-cum-Secretary Jammu and Kashmir Building and other Construction Workers Welfare Board, Peer Muzaffar.

During the visit, the Secretary interacted with the staff of the School and reviewed the infrastructural status.

While reviewing the progress of registration of Building and Other Construction Workers under Mission Mode Project(MMP), he was informed by ALC Kishtwar that 300 new registrations have been done in Block Drabshalla and 700 more are in offing.

The Secretary stressed upon the BDC Chairperson to aware the labourers about the various schemes of Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board besides and facilitate registration of all the eligible  workers of the Block with the   Board

Additional District Development Commissioner, Mohammad Hanief Malik; Additional Deputy Commissioner, Pawan Parihar; Chairperson Block Development Council Drabshalla, Suraj Singh, Assistant Labour Commissioner, Anoop Kumar; Tehsildar Drabshalla, Arun Sharma; BDO Drabshalla, Sobia Fatima Shaad; XEn PWD Division, Er. Romesh Singh Jamwal; NT Drabshalla Ehsan Ahmmed Zargar besides other officials were present on the occasion.
