DGP sanctions retirement gift of over rupees 51 lakh in favour of 69 Police personnel

Srinagar, October 01 (KINS): Director General of Police Dilbag Singh sanctioned retirement gift of rupees fifty-one lakh seventy-five thousand in favour of Sixty Nine Police personnel of J&K Police who retired from service on 30th September 2020, after attaining superannuation or taking voluntary retirement. The gift of rupees Seventy-Five thousand each has been sanctioned out of Contributory Police Welfare Fund on their superannuation or voluntary retirement. Sanction has been issued vide PHQ Order No. 2642 for grant of retirement gift in favour of three (03) Gazetted Officers, fifty-four (54) Non-Gazetted officers, ten (10) lower subordinates and two (02) Followers. The personnel belonged to different units and wings of the department. Retirement gift of seventy-five thousand is sanctioned to each police personnel from the Contributory Police Welfare Fund at the time of his/her retirement. The gift serves as a token of appreciation for his/her services rendered to the department.
