Police officer shot dead in Anantnag

Srinagar Oct 19 (KINS): A police officer has been shot dead by unidentified gunmen in south Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Monday evening. 

A police official told news agency Kashmir Indepth News Service (KINS) that police officer was returning from home after offering prayers in a mosque at Kenalawan in South Kashmir Anantnag district. 

He was rushed to the hospital where doctors declared him brought dead. The slian officer has been identified as Inspector Mohammad Ashra
