Budgam Feb 05 (KINS): The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Budgam Shahbaz Ahmed Mirza Friday received his first shot of Covid-19 vaccine during inauguration of the 2nd phase of vaccination, here.
The DC received his first shot of vaccine at District Hospital Budgam in presence of GM DIC Budgam, CPO, CMO, Dy. CMO, CDPOs, BMO Budgam and officials of District Office Complex Budgam.
After getting administered with a vaccine, the DC said that the vaccination is completely safe and everyone should come forward for vaccination as and when their turn comes up.
He said that the vaccination programme is crucial to win the war against COVID-19 pandemic. Meanwhile DC hailed the efforts of the Health Department for being proactive in starting vaccination drive in the district. (KINS)
