Navin Choudhary inspects Kissan Ghar, Delhi


NEW DELHI, MARCH 12: Principal Secretary, Agriculture & Farmers Welfare and Horticulture Departments, Navin Kumar Choudhary today visited Kissan Ghar, Shalimar Bagh, New Delhi.
During the visit, he inspected the under construction additional block of Kissan Ghar and instructed the Executing agency to resolve all pending matters within one month and expedite the work so that the facility would be ready for the growers of Jammu & Kashmir in the shortest possible time.
The Principal Secretary also inspected the existing accommodation at the Kissan Ghar and gave on spot directions to upgrade the furniture and other amenities there.
Navin Choudhary also instructed to streamline the procedure for allotment of accommodation at Kissan ghar and directed to install a surveillance system there.
Later, he reviewed the functioning of Cold store facility at Wazir Pur, Delhi and asked MD J&K Agro to submit a report with in a week.
During the visit, Principal Secretary was accompanied by Additional Secretary Horticulture Department, Deputy Director, Horticulture Planning and Marketing, Executive Engineer, Horticulture Planning and Marketing, Area Marketing Officer and other senior officers.
