BANDIPORA, JULY 12(KINS): The District Legal Services (DLSA) Authority Bandipora on Monday organised a legal awareness programme to observe the World Population Day.
In a statement issued by DLSA, it was given out that as per National Plan of Action 2021, DLSA Bandipora in collaboration with Education Department Bandipora three programmes were conducted at various far-flung schools including at Govt. Middle School Authwatoo, Govt. Higher Secondary School Asham Sonawari and Govt. Girls Higher Secondary School Dawar Gurez.
The programme was inaugurated by Fariqa Nazir Secretary/ Sub-Judge District Legal Services Authority Bandipora. The Secretary participated in the programme at Govt. Middle School Authwatoo.
During the programme, JLA of DLSA made students aware regarding the impact of overpopulation on the ecosystem. The second programme was conducted by DLSA Bandipora, Advocate Abid Hussain Malla resource person appointed by this authority. In Third programme Mohammad Younis Lone (Principal) Govt. Girls Higher Secondary School Dawar Gurez resource persons also highlighted the importance of the day.
