Srinagar ,July 19 ( KINS) : In the Ongoing Knockout Football Tournament 2021, Khanda’s Khumanie Club registered 1:0 win against Al-Sehar Chattergam in a penalty kick on July 18 at SK Stadium, Chattergam, Budgam.
Khumanie Club scored in the second half by converting penalty kick into a goal. Right from the start of the match both the teams played offensive Football trying to find the net. Meanwhile, it was in the last 25 minutes of the game when Al-Sehar Chattergam was awarded a penalty kick for rough tackling by one of the defenders in the penalty area. Khanda made no mistake by latching penalty kick onto a net.
Al-Sehar tried hard but could not penetrate the solid defence line of Khumanie Club. Khanda maintained the lead of one goal till the final whistle was blown and the match ended with Khumanie defeating Al-Sehar FC by 1:0.
The knockout tournament was started on July 5. Scores of top Football teams from District Budgam have been part of the tournament. On July 19, first semifinals will be played between Gauhar FC and Kashmir City FC.
Second seminal finals will played between Aslam Sonwar and khumanie FC on July 20.
The knockout Football Tournament is organised by District Football Association Budgam. The partners of the tournament are Shalimaar Textiles Chattergam, Al-Huda group’s and MS Agro Industries.
