Armys starts martial arts training to youth in remote areas

Udhampur, Sep 10 ( KINS )  To teach youth self defence tactics, Indian Army has started Martial Arts training to the youth in remote area of Jammu and Kashmir at Khari Tehsil of Ramban district. A large number of youngsters including girls of different age groups from nearby villages of Khari are participating in the event. The aim was developing self-confidence apart from making them physically robust and psychologically empowered. The young boys and girls participated with full zeal and enthusiasm to prove their mettle. During the course, the students will master the art of hand to hand combat besides various techniques of martial arts. The conduct of such event will go a long way in further strengthening the existing bond between people and Indian Army.
