SSP Ganderbal chairs joint security review meeting

Srinagar, October 17 (KINS): SSP Ganderbal Nikhil Borkar-IPS chaired a joint security review meeting with the officers of Police,  Commandants of 24RR, 34 Assam Rifles, CRPF 118Bn & 115Bn and discussed different security measures for ensuring peace and stability in the district.

As per the police statement issued to news agency KINS the meeting was attended by ASP Ganderbal Firoz Yehya-JKPS, DySP Hqrs Ganderbal, SDPO Kangan, DySP DAR Ganderbal and other senior officers. Besides, all the SHOs and DOs of the District Ganderbal were also present in the meeting

SSP Ganderbal appreciated the efforts of Police and other security agencies for maintaining stability in the district and emphasised upon them to maintain synergy and better coordination with one another at ground level to maintain the peaceful environment and security in the district.

He urged the officers to strengthen the general security grid of their respective areas of responsibility for ensuring peace and stability besides taking stringent action against those involved in anti-national activities.

SSP Ganderbal also directed all the SHOs and DOs of the District to put in place all the measures for maintaining peace, law and order in the district and ensure security and safety of the people.(KINS)
