Doctors deployed at DRDO Hospital Jammu repatriated after ‘significant decline’ in COVID-19 cases

JAMMU, Nov 12 ( KINS): Authorities have repatriated doctors deployed from peripheral areas at 500-bedded DRDO hospital Jammu after a “significant decline” in COVID-19 cases in the division.
An order issued to this effect by Additional Chief Secretary, Health and Medical Education Department, Vivek Bharadwaj said that the decline in virus cases in Jammu division had led to “underutilization of infrastructure” of the COVID-19 hospital.
The services of medical professionals may be again requisitioned at short notice in case of any further spike in cases, the order added. (KINS)
