DC Kulgam reviews status, progress of projects under District Capex Budget 2021-22

KULGAM, NOVEMBER 29 ( KINS): The District Development Commissioner (DDC), Kulgam, Dr.Bilal Mohi-Ud-Din Bhat today chaired a meeting to review the execution of the works under District Capex Budget 2021-22 and Back to Village-3, estimation of approved works and all other issues related to the execution/completion of the targeted projects in the district.

During the review meeting, the DDC directed the executing agencies to complete all the projects within the stipulated time period and all the formalities like floating of tenders for the new works, allotment of works, submission of pending estimates be ensured in a time bound manner without further delay.

He stressed upon the concerned officers to expeditiously under take all the projects without compromising the quality and instructed them that bottle necks if any hampering smooth and speedy execution be brought into his notice.

Regarding the utilization of the already released 50 percent of funds to the departments, the DDC took serious note of the low expenditure made till date and directed all the implementing departments to ensure expenditure as per government norms. He emphasized that there is no tolerance for unnecessary delays in expenditure of funds and erring officials will be taken to task.

The meeting was attended by ADDC, ACD, CPO, Officers of RDD, R&B, PDD, Health, Education, YSS, Irrigation, PHE, Urban Development and other executing agencies.( KINS)
