Evacuee Property Department removes  encroachment of Evacuee land at Tehsil Khansahab.

    

Srinagar, Mar 04 (KINS): The Evacuee Property Department Kashmir on the directions of Divisional Commissioner Kashmir reconciled the figures of Evacuee land in Kashmir Division (District Wise) and during the process it came to fore that Evacuee land measuring about 140 Kanals has been illegally occupied by various persons at Ketchrazgir, Chek Raithan and Raiyar Yech Tehsil Khansahab.

In a statement issued to news agency KINS the Evacuee Property Department intensify the anti-encroachment drive on Evacuee land and in the first instance retrieved land measuring about 140 Kanal at the above locations in Tehsil Khansahab  on 19-03-2022 through its constituted team under the supervision of Tariq Hussain Naik (JKAS) Custodian Evacuee Property Kashmir with the active support of District Administration Budgam through Abid Gani Wani Tehsildar khansahab and police.

“ Custodian Evacuee Property Kashmir applauded the team and Tehsildar Khansahab for completion of encroachment removal operation successfully launched in Tehsil Khansahab and ordered that the anti-encroachment drive shall also be launched in other areas to retrieve all the encroached Evacuee land from the land grabbers/ illegal occupants. The Evacuee Property Department also appeal general public to refrain from raising illegal constructions on Evacuee land and illegal occupation thereof failing which action as warranted under law shall be taken against all violators”.(KINS)
