Shopian May 09: An encounter broke out today afternoon between militants and security forces at Heff Shirmal area in South Kashmir’s Shopian district.
An official said that encounter started after security forces launched a cordon and search operation on specific information about the presence of militants in the area.
Two to three militants are believed to be trapped.
