POONCH, MAY 10: District Development Commissioner, Poonch, Inder Jeet today visited the border area of Village Degwar Tehrwa where he inspected the site for the construction of road & Bridge.
Executive Engineer PWD(R&B), Harvinder Singh, AEE PWD, AEE, PMGSY and other concerned officers accompanied the Deputy Commissioner.
During the visit, the ExEn briefed the Deputy Commissioner about the construction work of road and bridge.
Meanwhile, the Deputy Commissioner also inspected progress on road projects being executed by PWD including 2 KM road from Degwar Terwan to Bagyal Dhara and another 2KM road from Kotewala to Bakna via Karcha and 25 mtr. Bridge project under PMGSY on Degwar-Terwan road.
The Deputy Commissioner directed the AEE PMGSY to complete the Slab work of the Bridge at an earliest.
The Deputy Commissioner further directed for the macadamization of the remaining portion of main road Degwar-Terwan to Bagyal Dara and construction of a link road from Kotewala to Bakna Via Karcha in panchayat Dara Bagyal.
Meanwhile, the Sarpanch and locals of Degwar Tervian apprised the DDC about several issues including construction of road, Bridge, adequate water and power supply, installation of mobile tower and various issues related to their day to day life.
The DDC assured the public that all their genuine issues would be addressed in a time bound manner. Regarding the installation of the mobile tower, the Deputy Commissioner said that they will take up the matter with concerned authority.
