Andhra Pradesh based Pharmaceutical Company shots legal notice to JKSCL

Srinagar, May 21 (KINS): Andhra Pradesh based Pharmaceutical Company has shot a legal notice to J&K Medical Supplies Corporation Limited (JKSCL) urging it to comply with the directions issued by J&K and Ladakh High Court.
According to news agency KNS, Mediciti Healthcare Services Private Limited has shot a legal notice through its counsel Advocate Kunal Saini in which the company has asked JKSCL to comply with court directions or else it will take all legal remedies against any illegalities arising out of JKSCL’s conduct in non-compliance of the High Court directions.
“It is brought to your kind attention that my client had preferred a writ petition bearing no 854/2022 before the High Court of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh against the allotment of tender bearing no. JKMSCL/tend/512 dated 15/01/2022 for hiring of service provider for bio-medical equipment maintenance in Govt. Medical College Jammu and Govt. Medical College Srinagar to M/s TBS India Telematic and Bio-Medical Services Pvt. Ltd,” reads the legal notice.
“That the Hon’ble High Court while taking cognizance of the submissions of my client that the above referred entity, averred in the writ Petition should not have been awarded the tender for want of compliance with the mandatory conditions, inter alia been neither barred nor black listed by any central or state government nor been prematurely exited from the contract has directed other respondents to look into eligibility of the above referred entity before entering into contract with the same,” it adds.
“I therefore call upon you to strictly comply with the directions contained in order passed by the High Court and intimate the steps taken in pursuance of the order, to my client within 3 days from the date of receipt of this notice, failing which my client shall be constrained to invoke contempt jurisdiction of the Hon’ble High Court of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh,” it reads.
