Illuminating Futures: Keran Lights Assembling Workshop Empowers 45 Students, Igniting Rural Economy in Kashmir

Srinagar, Jan 07: In a significant stride towards enhancing rural livelihoods and fostering employment opportunities, a collaborative initiative in Jammu and Kashmir has successfully trained 45 students in the art of assembling Keran Lights.
Since its inception in November 2022, the workshop has not only illuminated the lives of the participants but also paved the way for a brighter future by contributing to the local economy.
As the participants emerge equipped with newfound skills, the ripple effect of this initiative is expected to extend beyond immediate employment opportunities. It lays the foundation for a sustainable and brighter future, showcasing the profound impact that proactive skill development initiatives can have on the socio-economic fabric of a region.
