Winter Vacations Extended for Jammu Summer Zone Schools upto 8th class Until January 17

Srinagar, Jan 14: In response to prevailing cold weather conditions, the educational authorities in Jammu have decided to extend winter vacations upto 8th class for schools in the summer zone.
Students upto 8th will now have an extended break, with the winter holidays continuing until January 17.
It is further ordered that the timing of the schools shall be from 11 to 3 Pm during the extended vacations.
The decision was made considering the safety and well-being of students amid the chilly weather, ensuring that they do not face any inconvenience while commuting to schools.
