Srinagar, Feb 05: Senior BJP leader Devender Singh Rana emphasized that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) stands apart with its core philosophy of “Nation First.” Rana credited Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s dynamic leadership for steering the party towards upholding unity, sovereignty, and the integrity of Bharat, the emerging Vishwaguru.
Rana asserted that under PM Modi’s guidance, the BJP has instigated a nationalistic political discourse, breaking away from the despondency caused by centuries of persecution and post-independence appeasement politics by the Congress. He criticized the Congress for its historical collaboration with British colonial rulers, resulting in the partition of the nation in 1947, and accused them of perpetuating division on the North-South axis today.
Highlighting the Congress’s divisive rhetoric, Rana condemned their recent Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra led by Rahul Gandhi, stating that it only deepens the divides within the country. Rana underscored the BJP’s unwavering commitment to the nation’s sovereignty and integrity, emphasizing the importance of safeguarding unity, even if sacrifices are necessary.
Rana praised PM Modi’s vision of “Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas Sabka Vishwas Sabka Prayas,” noting its role in galvanizing compatriots towards achieving Viksit Bharat by 2047. He cited initiatives such as “Make in India,” “Start-up,” “Swachh Bharat Abhiyan,” and “Ayushman Bharat” as reflections of the Prime Minister’s commitment to inclusive growth, bridging societal gaps since independence.
Addressing the political landscape of Jammu and Kashmir, Rana criticized Congress allies like the NC and the PDP for their political opportunism and lack of relevance. In contrast, he highlighted the BJP’s path-breaking initiatives for the welfare and progress of both regions, with a vision for a Naya J&K free from discrimination or appeasement.
Former Mayor Chander Mohan Gupta emphasized the aim of the Shakti Vandan Workshop, focusing on spreading awareness about the Center’s initiatives to boost women empowerment. The event also witnessed National Conference Vice President Jasbir Singh Chib from District Rajouri joining the BJP along with his supporters. Various dignitaries and BJP leaders were present, emphasizing the party’s commitment to the nation and inclusive development.
