Srinagar, Feb 15: Kulgam Police orchestrated an impactful anti-drug awareness initiative in Motargam, Kulgam district.
Led by SSP Kulgam Sahil Sarangal, along with Dysp HQ Bashir Ahmad Shah, SDPO Operation Rajash, SHO GM Rather, the event garnered participation from senior citizens and youths.
SSP Kulgam emphasized the critical role of community cooperation in combating the rampant drug epidemic plaguing society. Highlighting drug addiction as a social malady, he urged attendees to collaborate with law enforcement by sharing any pertinent information regarding drug activities in their vicinity.
Furthermore, the police are undertaking a series of anti-drug initiatives, including symposiums, seminars, and debates across various educational institutions. These efforts aim to instill anti-narcotic awareness among students, youth, parents, guardians, and relatives, transforming it into a collective movement against substance abuse.
