DC Srinagar conducts late night inspection of various ongoing construction sites

Asks concerned to ensure smooth movement of traffic on service roads so that commuters do not face any difficulty particularly the vehicles carrying the patients
SRINAGAR, FEBRUARY 21: In order to ensure smooth movement of Traffic on city roads particularly around ongoing construction site,
The Deputy Commissioner (DC), Srinagar, Dr. Bilal Mohi-Ud-Din Bhat Wednesday late night undertook inspection of various various parts of the City.
The Deputy Commissioner visited Bemina, Sanant Nagar and Nowgam crossing along bypass and other adjoining areas and took onsite inspection of traffic movement on service roads near infrastructure development sites.
During the inspection, the DC passed spot directions to the concerned executing agencies to ensure smooth Traffic regulation on service roads around the construction sites so that commuters do not face any difficulty particularly the vehicles carrying the patients.
Taking cognizance of public appeals regarding traffic congestion in some areas caused due to rough conditions of service roads, the DC instructed the executing agencies to upgrade these service road stretches to ensure smooth ply of traffic.
He also asked them to remove bottlenecks, if any hindering the traffic movement to ensure better traffic regulation in city.
The DC also asked them to speed up the pace of ongoing works to ensure their timely completion.
During the visit the Deputy Commissioner was accompanied by concerned officers and engineers.
