Srinagar, Mar 07: The administration of Jammu and Kashmir, led by Lieutenant Governor (LG) Manoj Sinha, has praised the Jammu and Kashmir Police and other security forces for their commendable efforts in ensuring the seamless execution of the Prime Minister’s rally held at Bakshi Stadium in Srinagar.

Throughout the day, top police officers, alongside personnel from the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), diligently oversaw security arrangements on the ground, bolstering attendees’ confidence and ensuring their safe passage to the venue.

Heightened security measures, including drone surveillance and standby sharpshooters, were implemented around Bakshi Stadium, while meticulous planning and coordination by security forces kept traffic flow largely unaffected despite necessary route diversions.

Attendees expressed gratitude towards security personnel for facilitating hassle-free entry into the venue, prompting the LG to personally extend thanks to all involved for their dedication and professionalism.

“The collective efforts of the Jammu and Kashmir Police, in collaboration with other security forces, underscored their unwavering commitment to ensuring the safety and security of all citizens during significant public events,” the LG stated.

Within Bakshi Stadium, highly trained Special Protection Group (SPG) commandos provided close protection to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, alongside strategically positioned police officers and CRPF personnel to enhance security measures and ensure the Prime Minister’s safety.(KNS)
