Omar Abdullah Announces Joint Lok Sabha Campaign with Congress

Srinagar, April 4: In a decisive move, National Conference vice-president Omar Abdullah declared on Thursday that the upcoming Lok Sabha elections would witness a unified front between the National Conference and the Congress, effectively sidelining the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

Speaking to reporters, Omar asserted that NC president Dr. Farooq Abdullah’s active campaigning for Congress leaders in the Jammu division signaled a firm alliance, with reciprocal support pledged by the Congress in the Kashmir region.

“The imminent announcement from Delhi will provide clarity on this strategic partnership,” Omar added, underscoring the forthcoming joint efforts by the NC and Congress in the electoral arena.
