LG Manoj Sinha terms Srinagar Voter Turnout as “Heartening Development in the Festival of Democracy”

Srinagar, May 13:Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha expressed satisfaction at the significant increase in voter turnout in Srinagar Parliamentary constituency, describing it as a heartening development during the “biggest festival of democracy.”
“It is heartening to see the huge surge in voting percentage in the biggest festival of democracy. I truly appreciate the enthusiasm of electors and am hopeful to see a historic turnout in the next two phases. I appeal to all to vote without fear and vote with responsibility and pride,” LG Manoj Sinha wrote on his official social media handle.
He further emphasized the importance of voter participation, stating, “Today, people came out in large numbers to cast their votes in Srinagar Parliamentary Constituency and reaffirmed their faith in democracy and the constitution.”
Acknowledging the efforts of all stakeholders involved in ensuring free, fair, peaceful, and smooth polling, LG Manoj Sinha commended their hard work, highlighting their role in upholding the democratic process.
