Sopore Police Arrests Absconder Evading arrest for Over 12 Years

Srinagar, May 23: Sopore Police have apprehended an absconder who had been evading arrest for more than 12 years.
The arrest was made by a police team from Police Station Tarzoo, led by SHO Inspector Khalid Aslam under the supervision of SDPO Sopore, Sarfaraz Bashir-JKPS.
The absconder, Noor Muhammad Gojree, son of Abdul Samad Gojree from Khushal Colony Tulibal Sopore, was involved in case FIR No. 91/2011 of Police Station Tarzoo under sections 457 and 380 of the IPC. A warrant for his arrest had been issued by the Hon’ble Court of CJM Sopore, and he had been evading capture since 2011. Gojree was produced before the Hon’ble Court of CJM Sopore following his arrest.
The police continue to enforce strict measures to ensure that all absconding individuals are apprehended and held accountable for their criminal actions, demonstrating an unwavering commitment to combating crime.
