Eid-ul-Azha Approaches: Markets Bustling Across Kashmir Valley

KINS Desk

Srinagar, June 14 (KINS): With Eid-ul-Azha just around the corner, markets across the Kashmir valley witnessed a surge of shoppers on Friday, transforming serene streets into vibrant hubs of activity.
According to news agency KINS, different markets across the valley were inundated with shoppers preparing for the upcoming festival.
The bustling thoroughfares of Residency Road, MA Road, and various other small and large markets in Srinagar and district headquarters experienced an influx of customers. Dress materials, children’s clothing, and groceries were among the most sought-after items, with shoppers eagerly filling their carts.
Families added to the lively atmosphere, with children selecting toys, colorful clothes, and footwear amidst the vibrant energy of the streets.
To address concerns about prices, officials from the food department assured shoppers that market checking squads had been deployed across Srinagar and other areas. Traders found violating price regulations were fined. “If shoppers find any trader selling commodities at higher prices, they should contact us. We will take action against them,” stated an official.
As Eid-ul-Azha approaches, the fervent activity in markets continues unabated. The anticipation and excitement among shoppers intensified, driving crowds to seek essentials and festive adornments.
Vendors diligently cater to customer demands, offering a diverse array of goods from traditional attire to delectable treats, creating an immersive sensory experience that embodies the spirit of celebration.(KINS)
