Technology Revolutionizes Global Trade Fairs and Exhibitions: MD JKTPO Khalid Jahangir

Srinagar, June 21:On the sidelines of the inauguration of J&K Trade Show 2024 at the Kashmir Heritage Government Arts Emporium in Srinagar today, MD JKTPO Khalid Jahangir highlighted the role of technology in revolutionizing these events.
“The establishment of exhibitions and trade fairs has been an important aspect of promoting business for centuries. In the modern era, technology has revolutionized these events. These exhibitions and trade fairs are conducted across the globe to improve business and commerce on an international scale,” Jahangir stated.
His remarks came as Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha inaugurated the J&K Trade Show 2024 at the Kashmir Heritage Government Arts Emporium in Srinagar today.
During the inauguration, the Lt Governor called on artisans, weavers, buyers, producers, and entrepreneurs to contribute to realizing Jammu Kashmir’s potential in industries, handicrafts, handloom, agriculture, food processing, and agro-based sectors.
“J&K Trade Show reflects that the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir has ushered in an era of opportunities. It also reiterates our commitment to creating a vibrant business and trade ecosystem in the UT, providing a new identity to J&K’s unique cultural and artistic heritage in the global market,” the Lt Governor said.
The event saw the Lt Governor visiting various stalls set up by artisans, weavers, growers, and entrepreneurs from J&K and other regions.
