Indian Cricket Team Meets PM Narendra Modi, Receives Congratulations for T20 World Cup Win

Srinagar, July 04: The Indian cricket team, led by captain Rohit Sharma, met Prime Minister Narendra Modi at his residence in Lok Kalyan Marg, New Delhi, for breakfast on Thursday. The T20 World Cup-winning team was welcomed by the Prime Minister at his official residence, No. 7 Lok Kalyan Marg, at 11 am IST.
During the hour-long meeting, PM Modi congratulated the team for their outstanding performance and victory in the T20 World Cup. He commended their hard work, dedication, and the spirit they displayed throughout the tournament. The Prime Minister also encouraged the players to continue their efforts and bring more laurels to the country.
The players had an engaging interaction with PM Modi, discussing their experiences from the tournament and sharing insights about their journey to the World Cup victory. The meeting concluded with a group photograph and an assurance from the Prime Minister that the government will continue to support the development of sports in the country.
