Sayeed Mureed Hussain Shah Joins BJP with Supporters from Poonch

Srinagar, Aug 20 (KINS):In a significant political development, Sayeed Mureed Hussain Shah, a prominent social activist and retired senior official, along with his supporters from Mendhar, Poonch, officially joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) at the party headquarters in Jammu.
According to news agency Kashmir Indepth News Service (KINS) Ravinder Raina, President of the J&K BJP, welcomed Shah and his supporters, highlighting the Modi government’s commitment to public welfare through its schemes aimed at the poor and needy. Raina emphasized the government’s dedication to “Sabka Sath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Prayas, Sabka Vishwas,” underscoring the development and inclusiveness brought about by BJP policies.

BJP Minority Morcha President Ranjodh Singh Nalwa was also present, noting that prominent figures from various fields are joining the BJP daily, reflecting their trust in the Modi administration’s developmental agenda. He commended Shah and his supporters for recognizing the progress achieved even in remote areas.
Ravinder Raina expressed confidence that the residents of Jammu and Kashmir are increasingly supportive of the BJP and are poised to vote for the party in the upcoming Assembly elections in 2024.
In response, Shah thanked the BJP for the warm reception and affirmed his commitment to working for the welfare of the people, in alignment with the party’s principles. He acknowledged the visible development and progress in Jammu & Kashmir and expressed eagerness to contribute to addressing the needs of the neglected regions.
