After Dr. Harbaksh Singh now Suhail Bukhari resigns from PDP

Srinagar Aug 20 (KINS):  Syed Suhail Bukhari, the chief spokesperson of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has resigned from the party ahead of the upcoming assembly elections in Jammu and Kashmir. Bukhari, who joined the PDP in 2019 after serving as a media consultant for the Jammu and Kashmir government, was appointed as the party’s chief spokesperson in 2023. His resignation comes as the region prepares for its first election in a decade, with polling scheduled to take place in three phases: September 18, September 25, and October 1. The election results are set to be announced on October 4. This development follows the recent resignation of DDC member Dr. Harbaksh Singh from the PDP, who has since joined the Awami Itehad Party.
