Dr Urfana Amin from Srinagar Honored with National Award for Teachers 2024

Srinagar, Sept 06 (KINS): Dr. Urfana Amin, a dedicated educator from Jammu and Kashmir, has been recognized with the prestigious National Award for Teachers 2024 for her exceptional contributions to the field of education and nation-building. Dr. Amin, who teaches at Boys Higher Secondary School (BHSS) Soura, Hawal, Srinagar, specializes in English, Entrepreneurship, and teacher training, making her a key figure in shaping young minds.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, Dr. Amin demonstrated her commitment to education by delivering radio classes to ensure uninterrupted learning for students. She also developed foundational literacy and numeracy (FLN) modules and created e-content for the DIKSHA platform, contributing to digital education across the country.
