Srinagar, Sep 08 (KINS): Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to visit Jammu on September 14 as part of his campaign for the 2024 Assembly Elections in Jammu and Kashmir.
The visit is anticipated to draw a significant number of attendees, where Modi will address key regional concerns.
This will be the third prominent visit by a high-ranking official before the elections. Defence Minister Rajnath Singh will arrive in Jammu today for rallies in Ramban and Banihal, while Home Minister Amit Shah was in the region last weekend to unveil the BJP’s election manifesto.
The Assembly elections, marking the first since the revocation of Jammu and Kashmir’s special status under Article 370, are scheduled to occur in three stages on September 18, 25, and October 1.(KINS)
