Srinagar, Sep 17 (KINS): Pawan Khera, media advisor for the Indian National Congress, has criticized the Union Home Minister’s assertions that “terrorism has been eradicated, highlighting an increase in terrorist activities, particularly in the Jammu region”.
Speaking at a press conference in Baramulla Khera, accompanied by senior Congress leader Salman Anees Soz and the party’s candidate for North Kashmir, stated, “Terrorist activities have escalated despite claims of eradication”.
“The people of Jammu and Kashmir are disillusioned with the unfulfilled promises of the BJP government and are now seeking change.”
Khera expressed optimism about the coalition between the National Conference (NC) and Congress, predicting that it will lead to positive outcomes in the upcoming assembly elections.
He noted, “Just as in the parliamentary elections, we anticipate a strong voter turnout and a decisive shift towards our coalition.” (KINS)
