Bandipora, Oct 6 (KINS): The NKOR Inter-Battalion Basketball Tournament, hosted by the 45 Bn CRPF at Shaheed Jabbar Singh Camp in Sumbal, concluded today after three days of intense competition, spanning from October 4 to October 6, 2024.
Teams from various North Kashmir operational battalions displayed extraordinary dedication and teamwork in a series of electrifying matchups.
News agency KINS reported that in the final match, 177 Bn faced off against the NKOR Range Officer’s team in a highly competitive game. After a fierce contest, 177 Bn emerged victorious, claiming the championship trophy with a well-earned victory over the Officers of the OPS Range.
The event wrapped up with a grand closing ceremony, attended by Sh. Rajender Singh Rawat, DIG, NKOR, CRPF, as the chief guest. He congratulated the winning team and commended the Commandant of 45 Bn, along with the officers and personnel, for organizing a successful tournament. He also lauded the sportsmanship and exceptional performance of all the teams throughout the competition.(KINS)
