High Court registry issues guidelines for TA/DA claims

JAMMU, Oct 12: The High Court of J&K and Ladakh has directed officers and officials to ensure that all applications for the drawal of TA/DA are accompanied by the requisite administrative orders.
This comes after several cases where staff submitted claims without proper documentation, leading to delays in processing and potential audit objections.

The Registry now requires that formal administrative orders be issued when staff members change headquarters due to official duties, such as when accompanying judges between Srinagar and Jammu.
Any TA/DA claims without these orders will be summarily rejected.
