Deputy CM condemns Gagangeer terror attack, visits victim Shashi Bhushan Abrol’s family, ‘assures full Govt support’

Srinagar, Oct 22 (KINS): Jammu and Kashmir Deputy Chief Minister Surinder Choudhary has strongly condemned the recent terror attack in Gagangeer, Ganderbal, which claimed the lives of seven innocent people, including Shashi Bhushan Abrol.

Choudhary expressed his deep sorrow over the tragic loss of lives and assured full government support for the victims’ families.

As reported by news agency KINS, Choudhary, who was deputed by Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, visited Abrol’s family in Jammu to oversee his last rites and offer condolences. “The Chief Minister sent me to personally convey the government’s support during this difficult time and ensure that the family’s demands are addressed,” Choudhary said.

During his visit, the Deputy CM met with the grieving family and promised that all necessary assistance would be provided, including offering a government job to Abrol’s wife. “The government stands with the victims’ families, and we will fulfill all the commitments made,” he added.

Choudhary further stated that the feedback gathered from the family would be relayed to the Chief Minister upon his return to Srinagar.

The terror attack in Gagangeer has left the region in shock, and efforts are underway to bring the perpetrators to justice.(KINS)
