Minor boy mauled to death by Leapord in Kulgam

Srinagar, Oct 23 (KINS): A minor boy reportedly three-year old, was mauled to death by a leapord in Qazigund village, located in south Kashmir’s Kulgam district.
News agency KINS reported that the boy, son of Manzoor Ahmad Bumla, was snatched from his home by leapord earlier this evening.
A massive search operation, involving the police, civil administration, and the wildlife department, was immediately launched. After hours of searching, the child’s half-eaten body was discovered, confirmed, Wildlife Incharge for Kulgam.
“Unfortunately, we have found his body. He was taken by a man-eater leapord,” Naik told reporters.
This tragic event has left the local community in shock and raised concerns over the growing number of wildlife encounters in residential areas.(KINS)
