LG Manoj Sinha Attends ‘Ati Vishnu Mahayagya’ in Reasi, Pays Tribute to Martyrs

Srinagar, Nov 29 (KINS): Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha attended the ‘Ati Vishnu Mahayagya’ at Pouni in Reasi district, a ceremony organized by Pujya Sant Shri Bal Yogeshwar Ji Maharaj to honor the sacrifices of India’s martyr soldiers and police personnel.
Speaking at the event, the Lieutenant Governor paid homage to the brave jawans who laid down their lives for the unity and integrity of the nation. “The nation will forever remain indebted to these heroes for their supreme sacrifice. We are working with sincerity and commitment to build a progressive and modern Jammu & Kashmir that reflects their dreams,” he said.
The Lieutenant Governor reaffirmed his administration’s resolve to eliminate the terror ecosystem in Jammu and Kashmir. “Terrorism will be completely wiped out, and every section of society must join hands to secure a peaceful and prosperous future,” he urged.
Highlighting the region’s remarkable progress under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Lieutenant Governor reflected on transformative changes over the past four years.
He detailed the government’s focus on infrastructure development, industrial growth, and increased investments in various economic sectors, contributing to J&K’s rapid
growth.
“Through people-centric policies and progressive reforms, we have empowered youth, women, farmers, and marginalized communities, paving the way for inclusive development,” the Lieutenant Governor remarked. He also encouraged stakeholders in agriculture and allied sectors to leverage the benefits of the Holistic Agriculture Development Program.
The ceremony was attended by Kuldeep Raj Dubey, Member of Legislative Assembly; Vishesh Paul Mahajan, Deputy Commissioner, Reasi; senior officials of civil and police administration, army veterans, families of martyrs, and prominent citizens.(KINS)
