Srinagar, Jul 24 (KINS): Director General of Police (DGP) Nalin Prabhat on Friday reviewed security operations in Budgam district, focusing on operational faultlines and the overall security situation.
The DGP was accompanied by Inspector General of Police (IGP) Kashmir Zone V.K. Birdi and Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Central Kashmir Range Rajiv Pandey. They held a detailed review with the Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Budgam and Special Operations Group (SOG) commanders to assess the operational preparedness and security strategy.
The officers discussed measures to strengthen coordination, enhance intelligence-based operations, and maintain a robust security grid in the district. The review was aimed at ensuring effective counter-terrorism operations and sustained peace in the region.(KINS)
