Srinagar, Jul 23 (KINS): Divisional Commissioner Kashmir on Thursday said that the rising water levels in the River Jhelum are being closely monitored by field teams across the Valley.
The Divisional Commissioner said that Control Rooms at the Divisional and district levels are functioning round the clock to coordinate preventive and remedial measures.
People residing near the river embankments have been advised not to panic, remain vigilant, and strictly follow the advisories issued by the local administration. They have also been asked to contact the Integrated Command and Control Centre (ICCC), Srinagar, at 0194-2740003 for any assistance or emergency support.(KINS)
