Prof Shaad Ramzan selected to represent Kashmiri language at National Symposium of Poets 2025 in Mumbai

Srinagar, Dec 16 (KINS): Prof Shaad Ramzan, a prominent poet of Kashmir has been selected by the Prasar Bharati jury to represent Kashmiri language at the prestigious National Symposium of Poets – 2025 (the biggest poetic congregation of the world) to be held by Prasar Bharati on 19th of December in Mumbai.

It is worthwhile to mention that selected poets from twenty two Indian languages will present their poems in the glittering event at Mumbai.

The recording of this symposium, held in connection with the Republic Day every year, is being broadcast from all the Stations of Akashvani in the country on 25th of January at 10:00 PM.

Shaad Ramzan’s poem ‘Tyuth Kanh Baeth’ is a prayer made for the bliss of reconnection to nature and its bounties beyond measures and boundaries.

Prof Shaad is a Sahitya Akademi Awardee poet and critic of eminence with many significant books of literature to his credit. A celebrated academician, Shaad is presently the Convener of the Kashmiri Advisory Committee of Sahitya Akademi.(KINS)
