Tanvir Sadiq meets Union Tourism Minister, secures support for eco-Tourism project

Srinagar, Jan 18 (KINS): Senior National Conference leader and MLA Tanvir Sadiq, met Union Tourism Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat in New Delhi to discuss a plan to turn the water bodies in Srinagar into eco-friendly tourist villages.
News agency KINS reported that Sadiq presented a 180 crore plan for improving Mir Behri Dal, Khushalsar, Gilsar, and Ancharsar.
The project aims to improve infrastructure, provide better facilities, and promote tourism that benefits local communities of around 30,000-35,000 people. Sadiq thanked Shekhawat for promising both technical and financial support and for making the project a priority, working with the state government.
Tanvir Sadiq is confident that the project will help local communities thrive and boost Jammu and Kashmir’s reputation as a sustainable tourism destination, while also protecting its natural and cultural heritage.(KINS)
