BJP’s Sunil Sethi promises thorough investigation into Kathua Man’s Death
Srinagar, Feb 10 (KINS): Jammu and Kashmir BJP spokesperson Sunil Sethi said on Monday that a comprehensive investigation will be conducted to uncover the truth behind the death of Makhan Din, a resident of Billawar in Kathua district, who allegedly died by suicide.
Sethi emphasized the party’s commitment to ensuring justice and maintaining transparency in the case. “We will leave no stone unturned in getting to the bottom of this matter,” he stated.
The incident has drawn widespread attention after allegations surfaced claiming Din was subjected to torture and harassment prior to his death. Authorities have launched multiple investigations to determine the exact circumstances that led to his demise.
PDP leader Iltija Mufti has called for a judicial probe, expressing skepticism about the adequacy of police and administrative inquiries. “A judicial investigation is imperative to ensure justice and accountability,” Mufti asserted.(KINS)
