Jammu, Feb 12 (KINS): After conducting a high-level security review in Srinagar on Wednesday, Lieutenant Governor (LG) Manoj Sinha is likely to chair another crucial security meeting in Jammu tomorrow.

Official sources told news gathering agency KINS that the meeting, likely to take place at the Convention Centre, will gather top security officials from the Jammu division to discuss pressing security concerns and formulate strategies to address the evolving security challenges in the region.

The upcoming Jammu security meeting meeting comes in response to a recent terrorist attack along the Line of Control (LoC) in the Jammu division, where an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) explosion tragically claimed the lives of two army personnel.

Sources within the security establishment revealed that tomorrow’s meeting will primarily focus on enhancing coordination among various security agencies operating in the Jammu region.

“LG Manoj Sinha will review current security measures in Jammu division and explore ways to prevent similar incidents from occurring in the future. Strategies to bolster surveillance and intelligence-sharing mechanisms are expected to be key topics of discussion,” sources added.(KINS)
