Top security officials hold high-level review meet in Jammu to strengthen counter-terror operations

Jammu, Feb 25 (KINS): A high-level Security Review Meeting was held at the Headquarters of Counter Insurgency Force (Delta) to bolster coordination and operational efficiency among security forces in various districts of Jammu division.
The meeting especially aimed to enhance intelligence sharing and formulate a comprehensive strategy to dismantle terrorist networks operating in the Doda, Kishtwar, and Ramban regions.
News agency KINS reported that the meeting was attended by senior officials from the Indian Army, Jammu and Kashmir Police, CRPF, and intelligence agencies.
Officials said that the meeting discussed strengthening real-time intelligence sharing to improve proactive operations, Enhancing coordination among security forces for synchronized counter-terror operations and neutralizing terror networks and disrupting logistical support systems in the identified districts.
The Doda, Kishtwar, and Ramban belt had witnessed sporadic terrorist activities, making it crucial for security agencies to maintain heightened vigilance and strategic preparedness. The collaborative approach aims to preempt any threats and sustain peace and stability in the region.
