J&K Budget session begins, CM Omar Abdullah urges constructive debate

Srinagar, March 3 (KINS): The month-long Budget Session of the Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly commenced today, with Chief Minister Omar Abdullah calling on legislators to engage in meaningful discussions that address the concerns of the people.

According to news agency KINS Omar stated the importance of constructive participation, urging members to utilize the platform effectively.

“I urge all the members to engage constructively, raise issues that matter to the people, and make the most of this opportunity. A meaningful session will strengthen democracy and ensure people are heard and represented,” he said.

The session is expected to witness debates on key policy matters, including economic planning, governance, and developmental issues. The opposition is also likely to raise concerns over various public grievances.
