CM Omar Abdullah grieved over Kangan road accident

Ganderbal, Mar 23 (KINS): A tragic road accident on the highway near Gund, Kangan, has claimed several lives and left many others injured, plunging the region into mourning. The accident, which occurred earlier today, has prompted an urgent response from authorities, with rescue operations underway to assist the victims.

Chief Minister Omar Abdullah expressed deep sorrow over the incident, extending his condolences to the bereaved families. “Deeply saddened by the tragic road accident near Gund, Kangan, which has claimed several lives and left many others injured. My heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families. Praying for the swift recovery of the injured. Authorities are providing all possible assistance,” he stated, according to news agency KINS.

Local administration and emergency services have been mobilized to provide immediate medical aid to the injured. (KINS)
