Amit Shah chairs key meet with CMs, top officials of border states on security

New Delhi May 07: Union Home Minister Amit Shah held a high-level meeting with Chief Ministers, Directors General of Police (DGPs), and Chief Secretaries of India’s border states to review national security and border management.

The meeting saw the participation of Chief Ministers from Jammu & Kashmir, Punjab, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Sikkim, and West Bengal, along with the Lieutenant Governors of Ladakh and Jammu & Kashmir. Discussions focused on strengthening coordination, surveillance, and infrastructure along India’s international borders.
