Speaker constitutes business Advisory Committee of J&K Legislative Assembly

Srinagar, Oct 18 (KINS): The Speaker of the Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly, Advocate Abdul Rahim Rather, on Saturday constitutes the Business Advisory Committee (BAC) of the House, in accordance with Rule 317 of the Rules of Procedure and Conduct of Business in the J&K Legislative Assembly.

As per the notification reported by the news agency Kashmir Indepth News Service (KINS), Speaker Abdul Rahim Rather will serve as the Chairman of the committee.

The committee includes prominent legislators such as Sunil Sharma, Leader of Opposition; Ali Mohammad Sagar; Mubarak Gul; Mohammad Yousuf Tarigami; Ghulam Ahmad Mir; Sajad Gani Lone; Mir Mohammad Fayaz; Choudhary Mohammad Akram.

The constitution of the Business Advisory Committee is seen as an important procedural step aimed at streamlining legislative business and ensuring the smooth conduct of Assembly proceedings in Jammu and Kashmir. (KINS)
